Bangkok City Suite - 2700 Baht, 3 Nights free 1 night
Stayed in this hotel for 4 times, i will say its definitely worth it... the price over 4 nights is cheaper than even staying at guesthouses in bkk nowadays.. and they come with daily buffet breakfast, free wifi, free 30 mins of internet usage at their computers at the lobby...
Some people feel that the location isn't so good without BTS, but from there to places like Pratunam and MBK will never be more than 80 baht.. for those army infantry soldiers, can walk to pratunam even...
The staff there provides good services and are polite.. extension of checkout time till 6pm only at 300 baht...

I recommend stay in residence-hotel , when our girl/wife can mix shopping and temple destination , i think this places is the best places for me....
Location in petchburi road ( but not in main street , many main street hotel are expensive like grand diamond will charge more than 2800 baht up ) , but this hotel can reached with 15 steps from main street...
Walk distance 3min to platinum mal, 3-4 min walk to pratunam , small street to siam paragon ( have shuttle car golf for round trip from morning to 9 pm ) oir u can walk within 5-6 min. In siam paragon we can find BTS sky train where we can reach many good places from this point.
And the most important.. cheap below 1800 baht.. dont take standard room as too many negative reviews about cleanliness, but deluxe room is nice ( but information i heard there are progressive renovation floor by floor ).

one nite in diamond = 2 nite in residence rajtavee hotel..
Ps : when i stayed here, my girl and her friends can easily walk to platinum , central world, pratunam, siam paragon etc... then we guys go for amulet shopping , no tuk tuk or taxi needed
at rachadapisek within walking distance to hwai kwang mrt, there is food stalls and pasa malam within walking distance as well...i believed this hotel is one of those nearest to airport
1st time staying there...price quite ok for twin sharing, book via internet 1400

Name is Khurana Inn.. Quite small but cosy.. and at least its clean..
with LCD tv and able to watch soccer at night... and its very cheap..
think its abt 1200 baht per night... and provide breakfast too...

I Residence at Silom is good. Value for money.
Across the road from Chong Nonsi BTS which is only a few stops away from Siam BTS. 1 stop away from Saladaeng or about 10mins walk to Pat Pong. 2 stops away from Saphan Thaksin BTS to get to the Chao Phraya River.
Simple and clean rooms.
Heritage hotel just beside with a traditional massage joint which opens till 1am or 2am( I forgot
